Mark Bouwensch

CEO / Managing Director

Mark has spent his career at the intersection of IT and media, selling and building archive and media management solutions for broadcasters and content owners across EMEA. Before co-founding SFS Media in 2021, he held senior sales roles at Oracle, Masstech, and SeaChange, working with tier-1 broadcasters and telecoms at executive level.

That background shapes how SFS Media is built and priced. Mark knows what broadcasters actually need, and what frustrates them about the vendors they've dealt with before.

When he's not running SFS Media, he manages a kart racing team.

Dave Bray

CTO/CDO

Dave brings over 30 years of engineering experience to SFS Media, spanning everything from FinTech to broadcast and media. He has designed and developed video storage and analysis software for some of the world's largest media organizations, including the BBC, CNN, ESPN, and Universal Studios.

Before co-founding SFS Media, Dave spent nearly 35 years at SGL, where he built deep expertise in the technical demands of large-scale media infrastructure. That experience is baked into every architecture decision behind SF-Archive.

Outside of work, he has been known to compete in a triathlon or two.

Erik van Eldik

COO

Erik has been designing and managing IT infrastructure since the mid-1990s, with a career that spans IBM, systems management, and over two decades running his own IT consultancy. He brings a pragmatic, architecture-first mindset to complex technical environments, with particular depth in cloud migration, systems monitoring, and operational reliability.

At SFS Media, that experience translates directly: Erik keeps the infrastructure running and the operations sharp.

Mitch Ross

Director Americas

Mitch has spent his career in media technology sales, with deep roots in archive and content management. Before joining SFS Media, he held senior roles at Masstech, where he led Canadian sales and managed technical and channel partnerships across North America.

At SFS Media, Mitch drives sales and partnership development across North and South America, bringing both the relationships and the product knowledge to open new ground in the market.
